Government bans activities of NURTW in Oyo state

The Oyo state government has proscribed the activities of state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

Chief of staff to the state governor, Bisi Ilaka told newsmen that action followed alleged security breaches and factional clashes of the union members in Ibadan, the state capital.

Ilaka urged the people of the state to go about their lawful businesses.

He added that the proscription based on police report over disturbances at motor parks.
