Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire dismisses viral disqualification report as fake

Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire has dismissed a viral front page allegedly from Vanguard Newspaper claiming he was disqualified from Monday’s senatorial primary election.

Adegbonmire said the publication was generated with artificial intelligence and described the dates and cover price on the page as fake.

The senator urged the people of Ondo State and members of the All Progressives Congress to ignore the report, saying it was spread by opponents afraid of his chances in the primary election.

Adegbonmire also called on APC members to come out in large numbers tomorrow to support his bid for another term in the Senate.
