The white house says President Donald Trump plans to nominate Jeffrey Rosen as the next deputy US Attorney General.

Jeffrey Rosen is currently the deputy secretary of the US department transportation he would succeed Rod Rosenstein.

Rosenstein is expected to step down by mid-march.

Rosen’s nomination must be confirmed by the US senate before he occupies the seat.
