DPR Seals Off Petrol Stations, Sells Fuel @ #145 In Osogbo
The Department of Petroleum Resources today sealed off two filling stations in Osogbo, the osun state capital
The DPR officials who came to the state unannounced sealed off the filling stations for hoarding and selling above the approved pump price.
Correspondent, Tolulope Faleye reports that petroleum has become a scarce commodity in osun state and Nigeria as a whole.
Filling stations in Osogbo have either been hoarding or selling the product above pump price for the past few days.
The selling rate per litre ranges from 250 to 300,except for NNPC who sells at a normal pump price.
But few of them were today caught By the DPR officials who visited the state to inspect.
Their product were sold to motorists and motorcyclists at the rate of 145 naira per litre.
One of the motorists,Sunday oladejo condemned the activities of the filling stations.
A motorcyclists, Ahmed olarewaju lamented what they are passing through to get fuel,
They however called on government and DPR to do the needful to put things in place.
