Xmas: VOK Rejoices With Christians, says APC Change Mantra Is on Course
A Governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Victor Olumuyiwa Kolade (VOK) has congratulated Christians in Ekiti State and beyond for witnessing yet another Christmas and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Kolade a legal practitioner, in his Christmas message to Ekiti people urged them and lovers of good governance to rededicate themselves to the virtues of peace, honesty, Justice, equity and service to humanity at large.
According to him, “there can be no doubt that greater manifestation of these virtues and ideas in our society will tremendously help Nigeria to become a more united, peaceful, secure and progressives one” . He said.
In a press statement issued and made available to newsmen by the media unit of his campaign organization in Ado Ekiti, the APC chieftain expressed his determination to change the fortunes of Ekiti state for the better when elected the Governor of the state in the next year gubernatorial election,stressing that the APC change mantra is a pledge the party owed it’s teeming supporters which he said must be fulfilled.
He urged the people of the state and Nigeria to see the current unending fuel shortage in the country as a thing Nigerians will soon overcome, while urging the people not to allow the social economic challenges to dampen their expectations for a better Nigeria, which he said the administration of President Muhammodu Buhari portends.
The APC bigwig further maintained that the current political quagmire prevalent in Ekiti State as a result of bad governance on the part of the ruling party in the state was a passing phase which he said would soon surely give way to a better future.
He called on Christians to use the opportunity the season provides to reflect on the challenges facing the state and its people, adding that collective resolve to fight poverty and economic hardship in the state would go a long way to make the state one of the best in the commity of states across the country.
The Governorship hopeful therefore urged all Ekiti people to imbibe and demonstrate the virtues of peacefulness, love and care for one another and sacrifice that the birth of Jesus Christ preaches.
