Ondo Assembly extends recess indefinitely

The Ondo state house of assembly has urged all indigenes and residents to cooperate with the state government in the fight against coronavirus

It advises them to abide and comply with all prescribed health tips and precautionary measures as laid down by both the government and health officials

The advice is contained in a statement signed by clerk of the house Adeyelu Michael Bode

The house commends the prompt intervention of both the federal and the state governments in curbing the spread of the deadly virus.

On March 19th, members of the state house had proceeded on a two-week recess for awareness campaign in their various constituencies to complement government efforts against the spread of the dreaded coronavirus.

The statement adds the ongoing recess would be further extended indefinitely.

The new resumption date would be communicated in due time.
