Supreme Court to hear Ihedioha, Zamfara APC’s applications on March 2

The Supreme Court has fixed March the 2nd as the new date for hearing the application of the APC seeking a review of its judgement on the Zamfara governorship election.

The court also adjourned to the same date, hearing on the application filed by sacked Imo state governor, Emeka Ihedioha, for a review of the judgement that removed him.

The adjournment of the Zamfara election hearing follows the inability of the APC to serve the processes on eight of the respondent who were not in court, neither were they represented.

Counsel to the applicant, Robert Clarke applied for the adjournments to enable him serve the processes on the 141 to 148 respondents.

The adjournment of the Imo governorship application hearing was predicated on request by Ihedioha’s counsel, Kanu Akabi who said he needs more time to file some processes before the court.

Lawyers to the Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma and INEC did not oppose the application.
