He said the Administration of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has continued to prioritize the welfare of workers since inception. ” It is worthy of note that one major incentive any responsible government can give its workers is promotion as a sort of motivation. Since inception in February,2017,the present administration, under the leadership of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has prioritized the welfare of workers as a motivation and incentive for higher productivity and better service delivery” he said. Dr. Adewakun stressed that the Governor has displayed a worker-friendly posture, noting that the Governor approved the promotion of all officers due for promotion despite the economic meltdown being experienced in the country. The Commission Chairman also added that the Commission has successfully converted 106 workers who applied and acquired additional qualifications for upward career progression to a superior cadre. According to him ” This would enable the officers to reach the peak of their career with job satisfaction,” he noted, adding that letters of promotion for the year 2017 are ready for all deserving officers. Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mrs Folasade Adegoke, lauded the State Government for prompt promotion of public servants, noting that the promotion exercise would go a long way in motivating beneficiaries to be more dedicated to their duties.
