Akeredolu Identifies Tax Payment as Panacea To Socio-economic Problem

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has identified payment of taxes as the only way out of the current socio-economic problems plaguing the State.

To this end, the state government is planning to expand the tax base of the state to capture every taxable citizen.

The people of the state would also be educated on the importance of tax payment to the development of the society.

Akeredolu stated this while speaking at a gathering in Akure, the state capital.

The governor stressed that there is the need to improve the Internally generated revenue of the state.

He stated that the people of the state remain the central focus of his administration, and all would be done to make life bearable for them.
