Ondo PDP elects Governorship candidate today

The process to elect Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the November 16 Ondo state governorship election is underway.

As at press time, accreditation of delegates who would vote at the primary election is still on.

Security has been beefed up at the International Culture and Event Centre, The Dome, venue of the primary election.

Chairman of the primary election committee and Bayelsa state deputy governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo has promised to conduct a free, fair and credible election.

He assured the aspirants of a level playing field.

A total of 627 delegates are expected to vote at the primary.
