Remains of Ekiti APC Chairman, Paul Omotoso laid to rest

The late Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Paul Omotoso, has been laid to rest in his hometown of Imesi Ekiti, marking the conclusion of a life well-lived.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji, alongside dignitaries and political associates of the deceased, gathered to bid their final farewell and pay homage to Mr. Omotoso.

Governor Oyebanji, in his tribute, praised the late Omotoso for his outstanding life, urging his family to find solace in their father’s legacy of goodwill and remarkable accomplishments.

He highlighted that Mr. Omotoso a legal luminary has contributed to the development of the state and the stability of the APC, expressing the state government’s support to the bereaved family.

Members of the All Progressives Congress, including Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Akinlayo Kolawole, and House of Assembly Member Princess Teju Okuyiga, described Mr. Omotoso’s demise as a significant loss to the state, recognizing his invaluable contributions to the party and the community.

The Onimesi of Imesi Ekiti, Oba Olátúnjí Olatunde, lamented the loss of one of the town’s illustrious sons and a key contributor to its development.

Mr. Paul Omotoso, a native of Imesi Ekiti, in Ayekiire Local Government, lived for 64 years and until his death was the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti.

However, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed his condolences over the passing of the All Progressives Congress Chairman in Ekiti State, acknowledging it as a significant loss for the party nationwide.

Speaking through his Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters, Ibrahim Olarewaju, at the late APC chairman’s final burial ceremony in Imesi, Ekiti, the President praised Mr. Omotoso’s contributions to the party, emphasizing that his efforts were widely appreciated and will be remembered.

President Tinubu extended his prayers to the family, invoking divine strength to cope with the loss during this difficult time.
