Plateau gov. speaks on Ruga controversy after meeting with President Buhari

The governor of Plateau state, Mr Simon Lalong has spoken on the claims that the federal government is forcefully taking lands from states for Ruga project.

Lalong has emphasized that the claim is false.

He spoke with newsmen after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari

He maintained that participation of states is voluntary.

The governor believes the project will address farmers herders clashes and create employment

Lalong insisted that the project will put an end to insecurity issues in the country.
