Appeal Court restores Nwaoboshi’s victory as senator-elect

Abuja division of the court of appeal has nullified the judgement of the federal high court, Abuja which sacked senator Peter Nwaoboshi as PDP’s senator-elect for the Delta North senatorial seat.

The federal high court had declared Ned Nwoko as the true candidate of the PDP for the February 23rd national assembly election.

However, a three man panel of the court of appeal unanimously held that the federal high court’s judgement was a nullity as it lacked jurisdiction to have heard the case filed by Nwoko.
