Akeredolu charges new state internal revenue officials to be transparent

Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has asked the newly recruited officers of the state internal revenue service to imbibe transparency in the discharge of their duties.

Akeredolu told the officers to strive to improve the revenue of the state.

He disclosed that the state revenue generation has increased by one hundred and twenty eight per cent since the inception of the present administration.

Akeredolu spoke at the opening ceremony of a training programme for the newly recruited officers in the Ondo state internal revenue service in Akure.

In his reaction, Ondo state head of service, Toyin Akinkuotu urged the officers to slum corruption and other fraudulent altitude.

One of the newly recruited officers Idowu Akinya assured the governor of hundred per cent diligence and dedication to duty.
