South Africa tourists return home following Egypt bus blast

The South African ambassador to Egypt, Vusi Mavimbela has confirmed that 22 of the 25 nationals who were in a tourist bus when a bomb exploded in Egypt have returned home earlier today.

Three other South Africans remain in the hospital against an earlier reports that those hospitalized were 7.

Mavimbela told the minister of international relations, Lindiwe Sisulu the exact numbers of South Africans involved in the yesterday’s blast.

The department of international relations says, families of the victims have been informed.
