ISIL inmates instigate deadly riot in Tajik prison

About 32 people, including three prison guards and 29 inmates, have died in a prison in Tajikistan after convicted ISIL fighters started a riot.

Justice ministry announced that the riot broke out late yesterday in Vahdat, few kilometers away from capital, Dushanbe.

Information has it that the fighters armed themselves with knives and killed 3 guards and five fellow prisoners.

Security forces killed 24 prisoners and restored order in the prison which has 1,500 inmates.
