Again, NLC alleges Ngige of unnecessarily delaying implementation of new minimum wage

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has again alleged that the minister of labour and employment Dr. Chris Ngige is unnecessarily delaying the implementation of the new national minimum wage.

NLC chairman Ayuba Wabba gave the indication while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.

Wabba maintained that necessary steps pointing to the direction of implementing the minimum wage are not being taken.

Mr Ayuba Wabba urged the labour and employment minister to be sensitive to plight of workers in the country.
