Thailand holds three days coronation for new king
An elaborate three days coronation is taking place for the king of Thailand.
The official ceremonies, a mix of Brahmin and Buddhist rituals will begin on May 4 in the capital, Bangkok.
King Maha Vajiralonkorn inherited the throne upon the death of his father king Bhumibol Adulyadey in 2016.
This is the first coronation in living memory for most of the Thai population and big crowds are expected to attend.
