NEMA receives another 145 Nigerians from Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has received another batch of 145 stranded Nigerians from Libya.

Coordinator, Lagos territorial office of NEMA, Idris Muhammad confirmed the development to newsmen.

He said the Nigerians arrived at the cargo wing of the Muritala Mohammed international airport, Lagos on Monday night.

The returnees were brought back by the international organization for migration and european union under the assisted voluntary returnees programme.

Muhammad said 99 adult males, two male children and five male infants were among them.

He advised them to learn lessons from their ordeal in the volatile north African country.
