WRAPA coordinator, Anisa Ari made the call in an interview with newsmen in Abuja.

Ari said some female electoral officers suffered abuses during the last presidential election, noting that women should be treated with respect and dignity in whatever situation they were found.

She added that women faced various threats in the society which inhabit their participation in politics.

The WRAPA coordinator also disclosed that a bill has been sent to the legislature to compel political parties to always include women in their governorship and presidential tickets.
