Adeleke Commends Security Agencies, Urges Residents to Stay Vigilant in Osun

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has assured residents of sustained safety measures amid rising banditry attacks in neighbouring states.

In a statement by his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, the governor commended security agencies for what he described as their proactive actions in safeguarding Osun.

He said several security meetings and pre-emptive arrangements had been held in the last three weeks to prevent infiltration by criminal elements.

Adeleke commended the Commissioner of Police, the Director of the Department of State Services, the Army Commander, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for strengthening surveillance across boundary communities.

He added that the Inspector General of Police and other national security chiefs have also given special attention to Osun’s security situation.

Governor Adeleke urged residents to remain vigilant and to promptly report any suspicious movement to the authorities.
