Fuel attendants allegedly selling product to black marketers in Ekiti

Contrary to reports of skyrocketed fuel prices across states of the nation, petrol marketers in Ekiti state still sell between the rate of #190 to #300 as at the time of filing this report.

This could be said as a result of the Tuesday meeting between the Governor Mr. Biodun Oyebanji and fuel marketers in the state where the Governor appealed to them to make life easy for the citizens.

Adaba FM correspondent Oluwaseun Adebolu who visited some filling stations in Ado Ekiti, the state capital reported that some fuel sellers complied with the agreement reached at the Governor’s office.

Meanwhile residents who spoke with Adaba FM, Oluyemi Abiodun and Wale Olutayo alleged that some fuel attendants have resorted to selling the products to black marketers making it hard for them to have access to it.

They called on government’s taskforce to quickly address the case as the trend continues to make life difficult for the people of the state.
