Oyebanji doles out over N300m to 23 communities in Ekiti
Ekiti State governor Biodun Oyebanji has given out cheques of over three hundred Million naira to 23 communities for development projects under the Ekiti Cares Plan.
The governor said that the grant was designed to ameliorate the hardship caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
He noted that the plan initiated by the Nigeria Governor’s Forum was to bring succor to the people and cushion the effects of COVID-19 on the economy.
He urged the benefiting communities to take ownership of the projects and ensure proper monitoring during construction process.
Each benefiting communities got over fourteen million naira for the Community Development Project.
