Ekiti accountant general gets 7 days ultimatum to provide state financial records under Fayemi

A human right Lawyuer, Morakinyo Ogele has written to Ekiti state accountant general for information about the state finance during the administration of Dr Kayode Fayemi within seven days.

Ogele demanded the total amount received from the federal government as monthly allocation from October 16, 2018 to October 16, 2022 and how much was spent.

He sought a brief about the total amount spent on the construction of the Ado- Iyin road, and Ekiti state cargo airport.

The legal practitioner told Adaba FM that he requested the information in pursuant of the freedom of information act 2011.
