Police parade murder suspect, 5 others in Osun

Osun State Police Command has paraded one Abdulafeez Shorinmade for murder.

The suspect allegedly killed a man and injured two others by stabbing them with scissors.

The 23 years old suspect who is a barber confessed to the crime in Yoruba language claiming to be possessed by an evilspirits.

He said most of his actions were controlled by an unknown spirit which instructed him to perpetrate the act.

Paraded alongside Abdulafeez were five others for various criminal offences

Among the suspects were Sunday Johnson, 36 year old and Obisesan Amos, 45 year old, the two were paraded for an alleged murder of an old man whose decomposing body was found in a forest by the police.

They confessed to have killed the victim in order to inherit his farmland.

While speaking to newsmen, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state Yemisi Opalola reiterated the command’s commitment to rid the state of all criminal activities

Opalola noted that all the suspects will be charged to court after the completion of investigation
