PDP describes Akeredolu as “great gift” to Ondo
The Leadership of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has described the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as a great gift to the state.
Two-time governorship candidate of the party, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede stated this during a condolence visit to governor Akeredolu over the Demise of his mother Evangelist Grace Akeredolu.
Jedege led PDP executive members on the visit to governor akeredolu at the government house, Akure.
Jegede said the late evangelist Akeredolu was a woman of good character who gave birth to a child like the governor.
Governor Akeredolu thanked the PDP leadership for the visit.
He said his mother lived a life of service, adding that she was prayerful and lived well.
Meanwhile, Traditional Rulers in Ondo State under the umbrella of Ondo State Council of Obas have visited Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to condole him over the death of his mother, Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu.
The monarchs were led on the visit by the Chairman, Council of Obas and Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.
Governor Akeredolu thanked the Traditional Rulers for coming out in their numbers to pay him a condolence visit.
The Governor noted that his mother lived a fulfilled life deserving of celebration.
The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi, who spoke on behalf of the Traditional Rulers, said the visit was to congratulate the Governor.
He observed that evangelist Akeredolu could not have died in a better time than now.
Oba Aladelusi promised to support Governor Akeredolu during the burial of the late Evangelist Akeredolu.
