Ondo Muslim Council expresses displeasure over Appointment of Education Secretaries

The Ondo state Council for Islamic Affairs has expressed displeasure at the appointment of 18 education secretaries for the 18 local government areas in Ondo state without considering a single Muslim.

At its emergency meeting in Ilara Mokin on Sunday, the council chairman, Alhaji Abibullah Akinpelumi said the appointment is one-sides, despite the array of Muslims who are qualifies.

The organization urged the state government to act justly in all its dealings in Ondo state.

The council implored all Muslims in Ondo state to register for their PVC in preparation for the coming elections.
