Federal  government, ASUU  face off  may be resolved  today

The minister of labour and employment Chris Ngige says the federal government has been meeting with the Academic Union of Universities (ASUU) over its lingering strike

He assured Nigerians that the dispute with the lecturers will be resolved soon. 

Ngige said this while briefing the press after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the state house in Abuja.

Ngige added that there have been a series of meetings between all parties, and the next one is scheduled for today to resolve the face-off.
