President Buhari to leave for Spain on state visit
President Buhari is set to travel to Madrid, Spain on a state visit.
This comes as APC prepares for its presidential convention slated for June the 6th.
The president’s trip which will be his first to the country in his tenure will meet with the head of state of the Spanish nation, his majesty king Felipe VI.
Buhari is expected to discuss issues of mutual interest to both countries, which will expectedly result in the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding on a wide range of topics geared toward further enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations.
The president will be accompanied on the trip by the minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; attorney general of the federation and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN); minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed among others.
He is expected back in the country on Friday, June 3.
