Suspected kidnappers kill two butchers in Ondo

Two butchers have been found dead at the early hours of today inside a bush at Ala area of Akure north in Ondo state.

The dead butchers were part of the three men kidnapped on Monday by kidnappers suspected to be herdsmen.

Reports say, four butchers had earlier received a call from one of the suspected kidnappers to come and purchase cows.

On arrival to the meeting point, the kidnappers attacked them in which one of them who was lucky to have escaped sustained serious  injuries.

Spokesperson of the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed this development saying the command is currently investigating the matter.
