Akeredolu pledges return of missionary schools
Ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu says his administration is ready to ensure smooth and seamless return of missionary schools to the owners.
The governor made this known while playing host to the lumen fidei economic and empowerment centre of the catholic diocese of Ondo, led by the executive director, professor Bosede Aworuwa.
Akeredolu affirmed that his government will continue to give necessary support to mission schools in the needed areas.
Earlier, bishop of Ondo catholic diocese, most rev Jude Arogundade, applauded the governor Akeredolu, for his unwavering commitment and courage in addressing national issues.
Bishop Arogundade who was represented by father Victor Ibiyemi, lauded the governor for not playing politics with the lives and property of the people.
Also, the leader of the team and executive director, Lumen Fidei Economic and Empowerment Centre of the catholic diocese of Ondo, Professor Bosede Aworuwa, described governor Akeredolu’s bold stance on national issues especially security, as commendable.
