Police appeal for synergy between force and media

The area commander of the Akure area command, Mr Otabo Festus has appealed to journalists to always liaise with the force in information verification to avoid creating unnecessary tension and peddling fake news.

He said this during his visit to Adaba FM in the company of other officers of the command.

Otabo appreciated the station for collaborating with men of the force in fostering synergy between both parties while promising to continue to sustain the relationship.

On his part, the general manager of Adaba FM, Sir Martins Ayoola applauded men of the force for their diligence in duty over time.

He pledged the assistance and support of the station in any capacity to ensure effective and productive relationship.
