NARD industrial action enters day 19 today

Two former national presidents of the Nigerian Medical Association, Francis Faduyile and Muhammed Adamu Askira have explained that leadership of the National Association of Resident Doctors and the federal government need to decide on ways to end the ongoing strike.

Dr Faduyile Says, the strike was due to insincerity on the part of the federal government to the resident doctors and suggested ways to end the industrial action

Meanwhile, Dr Askira says, the federal government was giving one month warning ahead of the strike but necessary actions were not taken to avert the strike.

The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) industrial action enters day 19 today.
