Ward Congress: APC members protest unfair treatment

Aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state has taken their grievances to court.

At a briefing, the members said since the court is the hope of a common man, hence the need to seek justice for alleged unfair treatment meted on them at the just concluded party ward congress.

Speaking on behalf of the aggrieved APC members Adebusuyi Idowu hinted that what they are challenging is a just course with the support of majority of members in the said local government.

Adebusuyi expressed their readiness to go to the table with the state leaders of the party to nip the brewing crisis in the bud to avoid doom for the party in coming elections.

In a swift reaction, party publicity secretary, Alex Kalejaiye said, they are yet to receive any court injunction, and talks are ongoing to address their grievances.

Some APC members in Ifedore have been protesting alleged marginalization by acting chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin in the just concluded APC ward congress.
