Cholera outbreak deathtoll rises in Bauchi
The chairman of the Bauchi state primary health care development agency, Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, has confirmed the rise in death toll of cholera in the state.
He stated that it now stands at 42 with 2,874 persons affected by the disease.
Mohammed made the disclosure on Friday.
The chairman said the state capital recorded the highest number of cases with 2,185 cases and 22 deaths.
He noted that the disease has spread to 15 out of the 20 council areas in the state.
