Publisher of Sahara reporters and human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has been reportedly tear-gassed during a protest in Abuja.

Report says, he sustained injuries and has been rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

One of his lawyers, Inibehe Effiong alleged a female police officer tear-gassed Sowore at the Unity Fountain in Abuja during a protest on Monday morning.
