Amotekun promises to rescue kidnapped Ekiti LG official

The Amotekun Security Corps In Ekiti State Says It’s putting all necessary measures in place to ensure the abducted Local Government Supervisor of the Ekiti West Local Government Council regains his freedom unhurt.

Commander of the Security Corps in the State, Brig. Gen. Joe Komolafe (rtd.) who made the disclosure in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Ado-Ekiti said his men have been deployed into the area where the Local Government Supervisor was kidnapped and other flash points in the State.

Komolafe further explained that investigation into the matter revealed that the Local Government Supervisor was abducted along three other occupants of his Vehicle.

Feelers in the State suggested that the abductors have contacted the families of the victims demanding fifty million naira on each of them.

But Commander of the Amotekun Security Corps in the state, denied the knowledge of the ransom demanded for, stressing that he has not been briefed of the development.
