JOHESU Strike: Labour minister threatens to sanction members
The minister of labour and productivity, Mr. Chris Ngige has threatened to sanction members of the Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU), if they go ahead with the planned industrial action.
He made the threat at a briefing in abuja.
However, chairman, Josiah Biobelomoye, said the union will not backdown on their stand.
Biobelomoye insisted that the union’s demands are legitimate.
JOHESU had threatened to embark on a nationwide strike on September 14.
