Ondo 2020: Police promise fairness among parties
The Ondo state commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami has expressed the readiness of the command to be neutral ahead of the primary elections of different political parties.
This is coming as a group within the All Progressives Congress in the State, has raised am alarm over an alleged move by some governorship aspirants to manipulate the party’s register.

A group within the APC in the state known as Ibi Giga Ambassadors has petitioned the APC National Secretariat and the National Chairman, Mr Adam Oshiomhole over move by some governorship aspirants to manipulate the party’s register
The group made its position known at a news conference in Akure
In another development, a group of students under the National Association of Nigerian Students have met in Akure to take a decision on the forthcoming governorship poll in Ondo state.
The students said they will only endorse a Governorship aspirant after carrying out a thorough research.
As the political parties prepare for their primaries, it is hoped that the police will be fair to all the political parties.
