Tunisia to hold national elections in October and November

Tunisia’s electoral commission has announced that it will conduct parliamentary elections on October the 6^th and presidential polls on November the 10^th.

Under the country’s 2014 constitution, Tunisia must hold legislative elections within two months of parliament’s mandate expiring, which is between October and early December.

The commission said if a presidential candidate does not outright in the first round, a second round will follow within two weeks.
