Gunmen kill sixteen people in Zamfara

Sixteen people have been killed and forty abducted as bandits invade Kaawaye Bagega village of Anka local government of Zamfara state.

Several cars, houses and shop’s were burnt and unspecified number of animals and food stuffs carted away.

Army spokesman of operation Sharar Daji, Major Clement Abiade confirmed the incident.

Abiade who also confirmed that it was a reprisal attack stated that the military attached to operation Sharar Daji were immediately deployed to the area.
