Four Ebola Patients Missing After Attack On Treatment Centre In Congo

Four Ebola patients are missing after their treatment centre was attacked in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Wednesday Night.

One policeman was also killed in the attack and it is the second attack in just three days by unknown assailants.

The attackers set the treatment centres on fire and destroyed equipment.

DRC’s ministry of health says it has commenced search for the four missing Ebola patients who are believed would be highly infectious.

The government hints that it will now send military officers to guard such facilities due to activities of armed groups in the area affected by the outbreak.
