Razaq Obe Declares for Ifedore/Idanre Reps Seat Ahead of 2027

A former Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources in Ondo State, Razaq Obe, has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Ifedore/Idanre Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.

He made the declaration on Tuesday at the APC Secretariat in Igbara-Oke, Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, in the presence of party leaders and supporters.

The aspirant said his decision followed years of patience and extensive consultations with key stakeholders across the constituency.

Obe stressed the importance of upholding the existing rotational arrangement within the constituency, noting that it is the turn of Ifedore Local Government to produce the next representative.

Razaq Obe described himself as a product of consistent excellence, highlighting his track record in public service as evidence of his readiness to effectively represent the people and deliver meaningful development.

Some APC leaders who spoke at the event described the former commissioner as an experienced and capable politician, well-positioned to represent the constituency.

They added that despite its population and abundance of qualified individuals, Ifedore Local Government has yet to enjoy fair political representation, insisting that it is now the turn of the area to produce the next representative
