Police arrest three suspects over alleged murder of OOU Student

Ogun state police command has arrested three member of a local vigilante group for allegedly killing a 400 level undergraduate student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU).

Parading the suspects at the police state headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, the state commissioner of police, Bashir Makana said the 24-year-old student was killed by the suspects who also disposed his body inside a river.

While giving directive for the arrest of other fleeing suspected members of the vigilance group, the commissioner said they would be arraigned in a competent court of justice to face the consequence of their action.

One of the suspects, a 55-year-old father of eight confessed to the crime and said he regrets his action.
