Edo government to go tougher on human traffickers
The Edo state government has said it would sustain the campaign against human trafficking to discourage the practice in endemic areas.
Assistant secretary, Edo state task force against human trafficking and irregular migration, Lilian Garuba conveyed the message in a statement.
She said the state government will continue to sustain advocacy and awareness creation to educate people and combat the menace.
Garuba said the task force will hold its sixth town hall meeting to provide an avenue for informative interaction with the people.
