UNICEF re-establishes child protection programme in Kaduna

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says it has re-established child protection programme in Kaduna state to promote the protection of all children against violence.

Chief of field office, Zakari Adams, disclosed this at the opening of 2019 mid-year review and planning meeting in Kaduna.

He added that the programme would also promote child rights.

Adams said that the child protection programme is aimed at providing preventive and response interventions for children who were victims of violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation.
