NAF’s operation green sweep destroys terrorists tactical base in Borno

Nigerian Air Force’s recently launched operation green sweep two has destroyed tactical headquarters of the Islamic state of West Africa Province (ISWAP) at Kollaram in Northern Borno state.

The director of information and public relations, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola said the air strikes were carried out by NAF aircraft in the morning of day one of the operation.

Daramola explained that several terrorists were killed in buildings under trees spread across the settlement.

He added that the attack was executed following a series of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions that showed the presence of a significant number of ISWAP fighters in various locations.
