Three-storey building collapses in Lagos
Officials of the Lagos state building control agency and Lagos state materials testing laboratory are assessing the cause of building collapse in Fagba area of the state.
Reports say the 2 storey building under construction caved Wednesday midnight and left 12 persons injured.
The chief executive officer of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said no life was lost in the incident.
He added that those injured had been evacuated and treated while some were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
He said all the buildings adjacent or beside the collapsed building will be subjected to solid material testing.
