EFCC seeks celebrities support in tackling corruption

The acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu has charged Nigerian artistes and comedians to join in the fight against corruption.

Ibrahim Magu gave the charge during an interactive session with artistes, comedians and on-air-personalities at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja.

The chairman said the anti-graft agency is ready to collaborate with the creative industry to combat the menace of internet fraud and other forms of economic and financial crimes.

Magu tasked them to use their popularity to tackle the scourge of corruption among the teeming Nigerian youth.

He challenged them to promote integrity and right values through their creativity.
