Kano Elections: Ganduje, deputy, others get certificate of return

The Independent National Electoral Commission has presented certificates of return to Kano state governor-elect, Abdullahi Ganduje, his deputy Nasiru Yusuf.

The commission also presented certificate of return to the elected members of the state house of assembly.

13 members of the assembly elected in the platform of the PDP were absent.

INEC national commissioner in charge of Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states, Abubakar Nahuche asked politicians to always imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and eschew do-or-die politics.

He described the outcome of the general elections as a true reflection of democracy.
